Anyone who has experienced a relationship break up, and that’s most of us, can attest to the pain, hardship and emptiness we go through. It can be unbearable at times.
There’s many reasons that cause a break up. But, when someone keeps telling you they want to break up because they are confused about what they want, make sure that doesn’t confuse you about your worth!
You are worthy and you are enough. A break up doesn’t lessen you’re worthiness. Hold on to your worth and who you are. You matter!
Here’s a few tips to help you through a break up💙
1. Don’t fight your feeling- opening talk about it, journalize them if that’s easier for you
2. Prioritize all areas of your Self Care- mental, physical, emotional, practical, spiritual and social.
3. Take a break from Social media. If needed, stop following your ex.
4. Get into a routine. Set up things to do throughout the week
5. Be patient and compassionate with yourself. Break ups are painful
6. Accept it is over- this can be a hard one
7. Avoid unhealthy coping strategies. Dont be out for revenge.
8. Ask for help when you need it. See a therapist or life coach.

At give slip kan være noget af det sværeste at gøre. For hvad sker der, når du giver slip? Slip på fortiden, slip på gamle oplevelser, slip på mennesker, slip på job... Ja, giver slip.
Hvem bliver du? Hvad tænker andre? Hvordan reagerer de? Hvordan reagerer du selv?
Der kan være utrolig mange ubevidste årsager til, at holde fast i det gammelkendte fordi det er forbundet med frygt at skifte til noget nyt.
Jeg har gennem tiden mødt mange, der har hængt fast i jobs eller relationer på grund af frygt. Jeg har selv hængt fast i relationer på grund af frygt og gammelkendte vaner. Jobsne har jeg altid fyret på gråt papir. Sjovt nok.
Når jeg arbejder med clairvoyancen og healingen, så er det jeg ser ind i, hvad der har behov for at blive forandret og sluppet. Jeg formidler de oplysninger, der kommer ind, men jeg kan ikke skabe forandringen og tage valgene. Det kan kun du.
Derfor kan der også gå lang tid før det føles som om, der sker noget. Fordi du på ubevidste (og måske også bevidste) planer sidder fast i noget, som du er bange for at slippe.
Vi er nødt til at tage valg og konkrete skridt for at give slip og give plads til nyt. Nogle gange kræver skridtene at vi begynder at gå udenfor at trække vejret, fordi det er starten. Det kan synes om fuldstændig ingenting, men ikke desto mindre, så er det netop det, der er det vigtige at starte med.

Yo!! For the past few years, at this time, I’ve been doing major purges to the things that exist in my space. I’ve collected a lot of things over the years: novelty items, graphic tees (way too many), clothes in general, papers, and a bunch of other things I don’t even use or wear.
And each year, serendipitously, something happens where I have to do “inventory” on the things I have and do a necessary letting go of things that are no longer serving me. This year, it was getting new windows in my apartment and having to move everything around for the workers to install them.
This time around, I decided to let a lot go. And, let me tell you…I feel so light! The energy in my space flows even better. It’s calmer. More relaxed.
This is part of my bedroom. It has never felt like this. I’m so excited. I’m just getting started. But, I’m liking where this is going.

As someone who grew up in an unsafe environment and had little agency, I longed for control. And as an adult who lives with CPTSD, I still find safety in predicting situations. But it's hard to control much in a transient world.
It requires a lot of effort to try and control things, especially when most of life is uncontrollable. Mindfulness is a practice of letting go and relaxing into the present moment as it is. And although, sometimes, you have to take charge of a situation as best as you can, it's amazing how when we let go even a little bit, we tend to find enormous freedom.

It's so easy to carry the past forward. We do it with relationships, we do it with regrets, we do it with trauma (an incredibly complex thing to let go of due to how it lives in our body.) It can be extremely difficult to let go of past pain, but if it's possible, it's always worth the effort. Take the lessons and the learnings, and charge ahead towards the new.
