QBP Highlights.
The Garrison Sergeant Major, put the Irish Guards through its paces during rehearsals for the Queen's Birthday Parade on Horse guards Parade Square this week. The traditional Parade to mark The Queen's official birthday, usually held on the second Saturday in June, will bring together over 1,400 parading soldiers, 200 horses, and 400 musicians. The Parade will begin at Buckingham Palace and proceed down The Mall to Horse Guard's Parade, with members of the Royal Family riding horses and in carriages.

This week has seen the Battalion preparing for the Queen's Birthday Parade at Horse Guards Parade.
With just over two weeks until the first review, which is Major General's, the Guardsmen have been putting in the hard work perfecting their drill. As the saying goes, practise makes perfect, and they, along with the incremental companies from the Grenadiers, Coldstream, and Scots Guards, work to ensure the parade will be among the best yet.
