@voguearabia Celebrating #Ramadan this month, hijabi model #UgbadAbdi and her younger sister Hani star on #VogueArabia's April 2022 issue, which spotlights family bonds, and the importance and evolution of modest fashion. Born in Somalia, and raised in a Kenyan refugee camp, and later Des Moines, Iowa, Abdi is now a celebrated model who has opened shows for Marc Jacobs and Michael Kors, along with Fendi, Chanel, Burberry, Dries Van Noten, and Valentino Haute Couture—always in her hijab. “My mother saw how happy fashion made me and that having a career where I get to experience different cultures and continuously learn was so important to me," she says. While this month sees @iamugbad return to our cover after her first appearance in the October 2019 issue, it marks @itsnothani's first time in front of the camera. Head to Vogue.me to know all about our latest issue. Cover
