It’s been a while… Happy Easter from the Lymon 3… soon to be 4. Definitely didn’t see this on our 2022 Bingo card, but we’re incredibly blessed and grateful. It’s been 9 years since I’ve been pregnant and MY GOD! I DON’T REMEMBER ANY OF THIS… but here we go! ❤️ Literally crying at the excitement of Carter being a big brother.

I almost forgot for a little while that God is a REAL BIG STEPPER, and he kept his word and then some! Like always! 🤞🏽 After 7 hours of a major surgery, our guy was discharged home after 5 days. His doctor was completely amazed at how well he was recovering. I had to tell her AND remind myself that God is better than good. Carter has a long road of recovery ahead, but we’re here for it and ready for whatever. This kid never ceases to amaze us. Thank you from the fullness of my heart for all of those who showed up for us during this time, sent up a prayer, a kind message, gifts, etc. We appreciate it more than I can express with words. Yall know who yall are, and we know what y’all did... Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Next week is the day that I've been dreading for almost half a year. Our Carter Bean is having a pretty major surgery. Honestly, we've been anxious about it for MONTHS, but today I'm grateful. I'm thankful that over the past five weeks, God has sent us MANY MANY messages and reminders of confirmation that Carter will be great. Our son's story was never written to be one of pity or hopelessness. Nor comparison, fear, or lack, but one of triumph, strength, resilience, and complete unfiltered JOY. Carter is GREAT and will continue to do great things because God said so! So, my message to next Monday... from a mom holding on to God's word... I’m confident that I’m developing the tools I need and will always seek the necessary help. It is EXHAUSTING being at war with yourself. Knowing in your heart AND visually seeing everyday how blessed you are, all while your brain is telling you otherwise. If you’ve been here, please take care of yourself and get the help you need.
