"We shot these two music videos / documentary over the course of two weeks in and around Colombia. Normally we use our ARRI SR3 to cover the celluloid with magic, but this time, our common camera would be too heavy and uncomfortable for this project. So we jump back in time and used a Bolex. It was a curse and a blessing at the same time. The Bolex is flexible, light and easy to carry, but we kind of felt like in a lottery. Did the Camera actually work? Is the Material worth anything in the final? Fear and terror has spread. But the Bolex performed extraordinary and the Material looks glorious!
