"The idea of a purpose that proves stronger than any obstacle is what drives this anthem piece for @tmc_financing, a non-profit that helps small business owner buy their buildings. ⠀ We wanted to balance the theme of sacrifice with a swell of passion midway through the piece. We turned to 16mm to transport our characters into their "flow states" -- where they are most engaged in their work and dynamic. 16 gave us the textures and color to make the scene more tactile and feelings more vivid, producing a world that is dream as much as it is grounded." ⠀ Writer and director @brentongieser on the @tmc_financing spot ROOTED IN LEGACY featuring @prioritygraphics, @cmarianiantiques and @vikschaat.
