One of the UK's Biggest, Brightest Things: @marlisiu | A veteran of the achingly-long 14-hour Megabus from Aberdeen to London for auditions, actor Marli Siu learnt to be "scrappy" to get herself noticed.
After getting her degree in English and Drama at Edinburgh University, Siu’s first job at a local theatre led her to breakthrough both on screen and stage. Last November, she won Best Actress from Bafta Scotland for her role in indie drama Run.
Now, she's just appeared in the BBC adaptation of Dolly Alderton’s bestselling novel Everything I Know About Love. No crystal ball needed: she's going to be mega.
