By the ooh aah noises coming out of my husband’s workshop, I’d say these Chocolate Walnut Brownies taste pretty good!
Here’s the recipe so you too can get some ooh aah’s from your family & friends!
Chocolate Walnut Brownies
150g unsalted butter, melted
125g brown sugar
125g caster sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla bean paste
3 eggs
80g bread flour
80g cocoa
80g dark choc chips
80g walnuts, roughly chopped
1. Preheat fan-forced oven to 150*C. Lightly oil 20cm square baking tin. Line with baking paper.
2. In a medium size bowl, add melted butter, sugars and vanilla bean paste. Mix together with a whisk.
3. Add eggs, one at a time and mix thoroughly.
4. Fold through flour and cocoa until just combined.
5. Add choc chips and walnuts and fold a couple of times.
6. Pour batter into prepared tin and bake for 40 minutes.
7. Cool brownies in tin before cutting.
Happy Saturday friends!
