My go to remedies for headaches π€―
Although Iβm all about a natural remedy, itβs still so crucial to be understanding the root of the problem, in this case a headache.
Common causes:
-dehydration
-stress
-histamine/allergies/mold
-hormones (estrogen being low or high is common to cause headaches or migraines)
-lack of sleep
-blood sugar dysregulation
-chemical sensitivity (fragrances, paint fumes, exhaust, various environmental toxins)
I love applying peppermint to my temples or diffusing, peppermint and ginger tea are also great.
Hydration WITH MINERALS is so important. Too many people are over hydrated and under-mineralized. You need minerals and salt to properly absorb water into your cells. I love adding salt or trace mineral drops to my water (especially since we filter)
Breathe work is so underutilized and can be great especially for headaches driven from a sympathetic response.
Chiropractic and acupuncture are also phenomenal natural remedies as they can loosen tight muscles and trigger points that are big drivers in many headaches.
