This means prohibiting the carriage of shark fins or other parts of any cartilaginous fish as cargo freight. The Azorean Archipelago is recognized for its sustainable fishing activities and as one of the most sustainable tourism destinations in Europe, SATA Azores Airlines agrees that banning shark fin transportation for all its destinations will contribute to reinforcing this global message and the efforts led by conservation organizations, such as Shark Guardian. The clip shows three orcas in South Africa’s Mossel Bay, an area that had famously been an aggregation site for great whites, but has seen them disappearing. Only 1.2% of the high seas is protected, yet these waters are important migratory routes for many shark and other marine species. They need protection to prevent exploitation.� 𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗽 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗞𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗮 𝗥𝗶𝗰𝗮 Costa Rica is home to dozens of shark species, many of which are in serious danger of being overfished to extinction.
