Here's a few whale shark facts for you: 🦈 The largest of all sharks, the whale shark is one of the 3 filter feeders and is completely harmless to humans 🦈 They belong to the carpet shark family (Orectolobiformes) 🦈 They are listed as ENDANGERED on the IUCN red list of endangered species 🦈 They have been recorded to dive down to 1900m depth! 🦈 They have armour (well, dermal denticles) on their eyes!!
