Staying active is an important aspect of our lives to maintain a healthy lifestyle. The outdoor elements can be tough on our skin, so having a solid skincare regimen is also important. Here’s my breakdown:
1. Wash your face with a cleanser that works for your skin type.
2. Apply Gillettelabs Rapid Foaming Shave Gel, which cools and soothes the skin after a hot summer day.
3. Shave with the Gillettelabs with Exfoliating bar. Aside from clearing away any dry & dead skin, exfoliating has so many other benefits including unclogging pores & increasing radiance!
4. Apply Gillette labs Fast Absorbing Moisturizer.
With another birthday that just passed, this routine helps keep me looking young and feeling fresh. BRING ON THE SUMMER HEAT! 🔥💪🏼

This past year has been the most challenging year of my life. But when I take a step back from my problems, my perspective shifts and I remind myself that there is always someone out there that is battling something bigger.
Some of the happiest humans I have ever met don’t have much money or the materialistic items and luxuries that many of us may take for granted. What they do have is each other. They have community, they have their health and they sure as hell have gratitude and smiles that could steal your heart.
Because it was my birthday yesterday, there are now over 400 happy bellies in my hometown in the Philippines.
Thank you to the best family ever in the Philippines for organizing a birthday celebration for me to feed over 400 people in our hometown!! ❤️
And thank you to the chefs that donated their time and efforts to help fulfill my birthday wishes!
To put things into perspective, feeding over 400 hungry bellies cost me about the same amount of money as a dinner out in NYC for me and just a few of my friends 🤯

I am the proudest daddy. My 5 year old daughter @lolajuneart has had the honor to showcase her artwork along with many other young artists with the Children’s Museum of the Arts in NYC. @cmainnyc
NADA New York this May 5-8 at Pier 36. As part of CMA’s belief that all children are artists and adults have as much to learn from them as they do from us, the exhibition aims to give young artists the agency to participate in the wider world of art at every level. @newartdealers

The first salon I opened up in 2018 with my partners is called the Silver Vine Room, which signifies, “A place for growth.” Notice the number 2’s hidden in our logo that create the vine and the number 2 hidden in the word Silver.
Silver, like in the Olympics, means to be in second place. I always believed that second place is a great position to be in- we have somebody to be inspired by and somebody to look up to who make us strive to be better. All while simultaneously being in the position to inspire and help others grow closer to their fullest potential. When you feel like you’re the best in any scenario, it’s time to move on. It’s crucial that we consciously surround ourselves with people that are smarter, kinder, funnier, faster, stronger or anything that might make you an all around awesome-ER human.

I found these boys playing in the river on the side of the main rode in Masantol, Pampanga, Philippines. They were 12 years old and they didn’t attend school. They work as bicycle taxi drivers in town to help provide for their families. The cost per customer on a pedi cab is usually a flat fee from PHP 10-30 per person, equivalent to USD .20-.65 cents.
Before you feel sorry for them, just know they were happy. No, they didn’t have much money- but they have each other, they have community, they have their health and they sure as hell have a work ethic like no other- just to survive.
Let’s ask ourselves… What if everything was stripped away from us? What would you do to survive? What practical skills do you have to make a living at bare minimum? Are we physically and mentally conditioned to endure hardship?
Sometimes our everyday jobs aren’t enough to answer these questions.
So yes, spend more time on that hobby of yours. Sign up for that class you’ve always wanted to take. Start training for that marathon that you’ve always wanted to run.
Because remember, there are some people out there that are so poor, all they have is money.

Biggest chop ✂️ in over a decade.
……….
Many of us wake up and carefully assemble an appropriate outfit to get us through our day.
For me, the feeling of putting on clean, fresh, unwrinkled clothing gives me a sense of renewal.
We dress ourselves in the morning being careful not to put a crease in our shirts. The last moments before walking out of the door, we look in the mirror, fix our hair and off we go- Life takes over.
Every wrinkle, every rip/tear, every stain and every smell comes along for the ride. By the end of the day, life's elements are embedded in our threads and we reveal our true character through what we wear- just to shed the layers off at the end of the day and leave it all behind.
I don't know about you, but I get that same feeling when I get my haircut.
Every funny smell, knot, split end and even a traumatic experience can all be left behind.
Forget the past, leave the old.
The rest of your life starts right now. 🚀
