Alright so my Gabs new job doesn’t allow us to be super commercial with her hair. As a model her agency requests super natural (ISH) looking hair. So money pieces are not technically a thing we can get away with anymore when it comes to campaigns and other gigs. . She still wanted to be rich and brunette so we opted to create some dimension to soften up her level 3 natural color. . We did a base break and then foiled about 10 foils through out the head using @redken flash lift bonder inside. Lifted to an 8 and We then toned down using 07nb 08gg 09aa. There’s many things that can hold you from reaching your goals. The most common one…. FEAR! It can be debilitating and consuming. I am often asked if I still get nervous and if I’m scared getting on stage, being on cam, putting myself out there for the world to criticize and being completely vulnerable. The short answer is YES!!! I embrace the emotion/feeling and while my knees shake and I hold my anxiety IN I say to myself, “this is nerve wrecking and I accept it, BUT I WILL NEVER ALLOW IT TO STOP ME FROM REACHING MY POTENTIAL”. By the time I get into whatever it is I’m doing I am so focused on being the best I can be that I suddenly loose that fear. By the time I’m done I thank myself for not allowing my fears to stop me. It can be challenging, but you’ll be so much stronger once you get through it. So next time you are doing anything that makes you anxious/scared close your eyes count till five, breath deep and say FUCK FEAR and go ahead and kill it!!!!
