Say hello to @redcrossmo volunteer Kate Appleman. Her Red Cross journey started in high school when she joined her school's Red Cross club. Kate began helping organize blood drives and arranging video cards to send to veterans. With the help of her local Red Cross, Kate began organizing drives on her own and has participated in or organized 2️⃣ 3️⃣ blood drives at high schools and colleges. In addition to volunteering in her own community, she has helped high schools in nearby towns develop clubs so young people can learn the value of volunteering and connect with the Red Cross. 🎉 She also recently received the 2022 Red Cross Youth Impact Award in her region.
