World Ocean day! 🌊
The ocean is my favorite place on earth!! I had the best moments of my life in it.
Maybe you didn’t but it still one of our first priorities in ours lives!
The ocean produces almost the whole oxygen that we breath! That’s why we need to keep our ocean clean and healthy!
We need to stop using so much plastic, we need to reuse more and also reduce our consumption!
We are all in this together, if everyone does a little part we will have a better future! Let’s go!

In the flooded waterscape of Botswana's Okavango Delta, elephants acts as ecosystem engineers, using their massive bodies to carve pathways through thick vegetation that blankets the area's channels and spillways. The crisscrossed network of trails the elephants leave in their wake is utilised by many other species as they traverse the drenched landscape. This web of interspecies connection is vital to the health of the Okavango ecosystem – if one species vanishes, others will also suffer in their absence.
We, too, depend on other species for our survival – a fact that has become abundantly clear in recent years. Biodiversity helps shape nations and sustain livelihoods. If we do not protect the natural world, it will be at our own peril.
This #BiodiversityDay let’s remind ourselves what's at stake and commit to taking action now.

We often turn to elephants for inspiration, motivation and guidance. Just like us humans, these gentle creatures are a social and emotionally complex species with intricate herd dynamics and a communication system that we have only just begun to decipher. When herds face social upheaval from poaching or hunting, the effects can be long-lasting. Decades after experiencing trauma, elephants have been found lacking vital life skills, like the ability to assess danger from predators. It's a stark reminder of how important it is to protect not just individual elephants, but the critical social structures on which they depend.
The future of iconic species like elephants is hanging in the balance and time is running out to save them. #EndangeredSpeciesDay offers an opportunity to raise awareness and take action. Together we can make a difference.
