It’s been six months since we rang in the new year with balloons, drinks, and 2022-adorned décor.
Yep, the fact that it’s now JULY means that we’re officially halfway (and a bit!) through this year.
Where has the time gone? I always feel like the more that I want to accomplish, the faster time seems to fly by.
So, let’s do a little check-in with our goals for the year. Are you making progress? How are you feeling? Is there any room for improvement, or should any of your original goals be tweaked? We still have another six months to alter (if needed) and plow through the remaining goals.
Of course, your goals can be re-evaluated and modified. For instance, if you notice that some of your goals are not as measurable or realistic as you’d thought, don’t feel discouraged. I always encourage students to stay consistent, get rid of excuses, and recommit, don’t quit! At the same time, do remind yourself that it is a journey and that it takes time to establish the healthy habits you want to incorporate into your life.
Do you have any top tips for building resiliency and progressing on your own resolutions? If you do, I would love it if you shared them with me in the comments below.
