Club Sans. Typography and Life, Being and Name
-
In the exhibition space lies mass-produced materials that are familiar to all. Bricks, stove pipe, aluminum hose, buckles, lumber, copper pipe, fences, flowers, baskets, parasol, satellite antenna, balls, carpets, ALC blocks. Take a look at these objects, arranged to be used somewhere within the exhibition space yet again. At the moment when these objects are recognized as letters out of their intended purpose, the vocal cords silently moveโwe believe letters have soundโand the sound of letters comes up. The viewerโs body naturally moves to the next letter and completes the utterance.

Club Sans (Seoul, Reims)
Kim Seul, a designer who deals with visual images and spaces, and Lucas Ramond, a designer who deals with spaces and objects, have been working as a loose form of design collective named Club Sans since 2019. Each of their projects that goes through senses and areas suggests a message that remains an experience.
