Can you wear balayage curled & straight?
YEEEESSSS!!
This is an old question that doesn’t get brought up as much. I wanted to bring it up again incase there is still confusion.
I think the confusion has a lot to do with ..
- hairstylist pictures are always curled.
-it’s lived in and not brought to the root, will it have lines of demarcation?
Hairstylist have mastered balayage to create a subtle lighter effect in your hair for those that want a sun kissed look.
The French painting technique taught to us hairstylist is designed to create a soft blended affect that creates no lines.
The reason why you see hairstylist curl the hair in photos- is because you can see the MOST dimension in that form, it’s eye catching for photos and the hair looks full, who doesn’t want to leave with a good blowout? Ya feel me!?
You can absolutely have lived in balayage color and wear your hair straight. I personally add a little low lighting it leave more natural color out of I know my client wears their hair straight. That way you’re able to see the dimension in that form as well.
