Hi 👋 I’m Chin a 5th generation Malaysian Chinese chef, with a white father and Malaysian Chinese mother, who I Co-present a Chinese Takeaway YouTube cooking channel called Ziangs food workshop with 137,000 subscribers, a Tiktok page with 56,000 and another Instagram page with 14,000 follower @chinandchoo, I also have a cookery school, own and have owned Chinese Takeaways and Malaysian street food restaurants in the top 10% and 1% in the world on trip advisor and sold 10,000 copies of myself publish cookbook “Chin and Choo’s Chinese takeaway cooking Bible”.
I’ve had the luck and good fortune to be fairly successful on social media but I often see East and South East Asian creators really underrepresented on all media platforms, so I want to use my influence to uplift these creators, especially British born creators :) and to support those who are appreciate our culture in the right way instead of appropriating it and using it for gain.
