IN THE GALLERY - SHOW ME THE COLORS - Opening reception tonight, First Friday ICT, Friday, August 5, 7 - 9 p.m. -
This exhibition is a celebration of color. We all love and appreciate a great black and white photograph, but this show is all about the colors. Photographers have searched the color spectrum of the rainbow and are sharing their love of all its' depths. Throughout a range of subject matter various color schemes are explored in creative compositions and exciting contrasting colors are captured through bold hues and the simplicity of monochromatic tones. Whether capturing high chroma or the subtleties of a muted hue, photographers have found the visual radiance in our world that speaks to their hearts and have shared that brilliance with us.
