It’s finally here, the day I’m finishing with Mitski’s discography (cause I already did Laurel Hell). I must admit that, after this album, Mitski has turned into one of my favorite artists right now. Let’s begin, I’m not gonna hold it any longer🤍🤍🤍🤠🤠🤠
Idk what happened to me. At first I was like “I like her music but her voice doesn’t click for me”; and it’s true. But this album changed everything. Since the first track to the last one, for me this piece of work doesn’t have any skips. Also, I don’t remember if I’ve said this before about her, but she really knows how to structure an album: her intros to the albums and her outros are always mind blowing, SHE IS A GENIUS DAMNN IT.
Once again, she didn’t miss in the lyric part. Brutally honest with a lot of feelings, which I love.
Sometimes I also struggle in that part because my little brain can’t catch up with her brilliant mind, but I try. With this I’m also saying that the way she writes all her songs is another reason why I love her.
I love the instrumentals and the production, I love the cover, I F*CKING LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS ALBUM.
I don’t really have much to say, because when you make THIS, words just can’t describe it.
Definitely one of my favorite albums ever.
🤍
Top 5 because I’m a cry baby and I can’t choose only 3:
1. Geyser
2. A Pearl
3. Lonesome Love
4. Pink in the Night
5. Washing Machine Heart
