STRONG HAIR - YATREDA
An exploration and documentation of Ethiopian hairstyles via a collection of 100 looping portraits
in the form of NFTs by the Ethiopia based family art collective, Yatreda bosslady_tenu led by Kiya Tadele. The portraits were taken all over the country in an effort to capture the cultural
diversity within Ethiopia and the power its different hairstyles exude. This project is their largest to date and was released earlier this year.

The Yatreda family celebrates Ethiopian history and explores the evolution of Ethiopian culture in a contemporary context.
