We love these lenses! Styled on the blueprint of the Panchro Speed original 1920 designs, the results are a set of primes with vintage characteristics mixed with modern touches, like sharp centres, and consistent colour in modern housing.

‘Coomber reports ongoing interest in classic glass, though with a detectable shift toward more modern designs – and not just to cover big chips. “If you’re shooting something for Netflix which requires an HDR delivery, vintage lenses may not be ideal. They flare, they have chromatic aberration…some of those flares might be super bright and super saturated all over your image.”’

Just over 50 years ago, Apollo 11, led by Neil Armstrong, landed on the moon (20th July 1969). Considering NASA's latest photos taken through the James Webb Telescope, what Armstrong & his team achieved is still a mind-boggling achievement!
