As we celebrate the month of love, have you taken time out to show yourself some love lately? I often cringe when I hear the term “self love” nowadays, as I feel, that over time, this has come to lose its essence and become a phenomenon relatively synonymous to excessive self indulgence. (Unpopular opinion, I know!) The type of self love I talk about is one that allows us to be the authentic versions of ourselves. Show yourself love by allowing yourself to fully experience whatever it is you’re going through. Whether it’s positive or negative, do not let it consume you. We are not what happens to us. However, we become who ought to be, as we let the experiences of our lives shape and strengthen us rather than overcome and define us. So don’t forget to give yourself permission to be; to feel, to live, to love. OUT OF OFFICE. Looks like I have to find any and every excuse to get away more this year, if anything, just to get more wear out of my new suitcases from @madedotcom. British airways damaged my suitcase last month.🙄🙄 Had to get new suitcases and whilst looking for some home items (my new obsession, by the way) on Made dot com, I came across these suitcases. It was love at first sight.
