Drake has one of these. Or maybe two. Either way, after rolling in the Mercedes-Maybach S580 sedan for a week, we can see why. This flagship limo is crammed with envelope-pushing tech — augmented reality, 3d displays, gesture controlled doors, and on and on — but the best bit is just how good it feels to roll down the road. You can forget all your problems in here, but outside, well, everyone stares. Because look at it: it's a $299,000 private jet for the road. @mercedesbenzcanada

The first all-electric Rolls-Royce, dubbed Spectre, can't fail. It has to be nothing short of, well, the Rolls-Royce of EVs. So the British brand is testing it to the extreme, covering 2.5 million km (roughly 400 years of driving for the typical owner). The car is being run on ice, sand dunes, and most recently at Miramas in the south of France. Testing is taking place on a high-speed 5km oval track, as well as local country roads. The camouflage isn't off yet, unfortunately, but expect the first Spectre to roll silently into showrooms in late 2023.

Despite the fact it's 20 years old, if you've got some CDs for the six-disc changer, the original Audi RS 6 Avant would still be a perfect family car. The Cosworth twin-turbo V8 delivers 444 of pure joy, and this supremely understated design has aged beautifully. The only catch? Audi never sold the original RS 6 Avant in Canada unfortunately.
