The first all-electric Rolls-Royce, dubbed Spectre, can't fail. It has to be nothing short of, well, the Rolls-Royce of EVs. So the British brand is testing it to the extreme, covering 2.5 million km (roughly 400 years of driving for the typical owner). The car is being run on ice, sand dunes, and most recently at Miramas in the south of France. Testing is taking place on a high-speed 5km oval track, as well as local country roads. The camouflage isn't off yet, unfortunately, but expect the first Spectre to roll silently into showrooms in late 2023.
