The Trifle 🍰
This is my favorite technique for creating Dimensional Color!
I used the same pattern as I would on a regular Foilayage, but within each section there are 3 delicious 🤤 layers!
1. Foilayage ( Starting from the top of the section) using @redken Flash Lift with bonder, 20 vol. @cooboard
⚠️ This will create the lightest blonde.
2. Lowlight using @kenraprofessional Monochrome 5N, 6B 10 vol.
⚠️ This will add depth and dimension.
3. Balayage using @lorealpro_education_us Blond Studio 7 Clay Lightener, 40 vol
⚠️ This will create the warm blonde.
• Global glaze ~ @redken Shades Eq 9GI, 10Vg

DOUBLE TROUBLE 👯♂️
• Want to create multi dimensional color? Combine different techniques!
• Here I alternated between Balayage and Foilayage to create two different blonde tones.
• The warmer tone was created with traditional balayage using @oligopro Clay Lightener mixed with Extra Blonde Lightener.
• The lighter blonde was created with @redken Flash Lift lightener, using @framar foils and the @cooboard .
• Final glaze- #redkenshadeseq 9V, 000 Crystal Clear.
Painting the crown 👸
• Game Changer when I realized everyone’s hair pattern is different and it’s important to see where the hair lives!
💥 PRO TIPS-
• Gently let the hair fall. Shaking it out helps to see where it splits.
• Paint on a diagonal , bringing it up higher towards the face.
• Have a clean paint brush handy for blending, after you load the lightener. @framar Power Painter!
• @pinkpewter Never Let Go Comb is great for teasing!
• Always make sure to leave enough depth (negative space) at the crown. Don’t over highlight!
⚠️SAVE and share if these tips were helpful!
• Root smudge using @redken 7M 6N. Final glaze #redkenshadeseq 9V,9B 000 Crystal Clear.
