Backstage at “Meta Morphism” by Iris van Herpen, Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week @irisvanherpen@parisfashionweek
Celebrating its 15th year anniversary, the Dutch designer took Ovid's classical text Metamorphoses as an inspiration to create trans-human, bodily sculptures. With the metaverse looming on the background, the collection was a true feat of all that is possible in the physical world.

“Waterland,” a track by Alexandre Eghikian @alexandreeghikian for Purple Future Radiooooo.
Water appears.
It spreads, drop by drop. Walls perspire. Puddles emerge sporadically throughout the city and flow along the cobblestones…
Water rises and surges in continuous waves at street corners. They smash against facades and engulf everything in their way. Powerful, determined, firm, and uncompromising.
Edifices crumble down. The veil devours everything…
The landscape is purged.
Night falls.

“Red Forest,” an exhibition of Nicolas Party @nicolasparty at Hauser & Wirth @hauserwirth Hong Kong
Wood, fire, earth metal and water — it’s these five elements that the New York-based Swiss artist took as a starting point for his new exhibition. Showcasing thirteen new pastel landscapes and portraits, most notably those of frightening forest fires, Party invites the viewer to reflect on our relationship with the environment; urging the viewer to consider its beauty is deeply endangered.

“God with a Revolver,” a poetry book by Rene Ricard translated by Manon Lutanie @manon_lutanie and Rachel Valinsky @langue_pendue and published by @editionslutanie
Growing up in a troubled environment, Ricard packed his bags for New york when he was eighteen, and never left. There, he wrote two major collections of poetry, acted in several films –he was a close collaborator of Andy Warhol– and wrote essays, some of which were pivotal in the launch of the careers of artists such as Julian Schnabel and Jean-Michel Basquiat. This collection of poems, originally published in 1989, centers around the dramatic experience of heartbreak, described with the raw honesty and humor characteristic of Ricard.
