[2019] After a tour of the biggest venues in France, Eddy De Pretto wanted to end on a more intimate note during 10 shows in a mythical parisian concert hall: l’Elysée-Montmartre. We worked in collaboration with him to stage the show and infuse the atmosphere of a gym in the whole venue, recreating the atmosphere of a gymnasium in the whole venue, thanks to sound installations and creative sets. An artistic and physical performance mixing music and cinema experience with three film pieces that we created and displayed on screens in motion between each « round », surrounding a 360 boxing ring. A deep dive into Eddy’s intimate story to immerse his audience into his world and the background of his first album: his youth and the fight against himself and others that implies a coming out in a conservative environment, to eventually live fully and free. It’s been a while we wanted to show some images of this collaboration, and now we go through this odd period where sharing live experiences as fully as few months ago is quite impossible, the memory of this team work and live preparation echoes differently into our hearts. We are deeply in love with the complementarity of film making and live show temporalities: mixing both was such a beautiful experience of strong and shared emotions.
