RADICANTS presents PLANET B: CLIMATE CHANGE AND THE NEW SUBLIME, its debut exhibition curated by NICOLAS BOURRIAUD at Palazzo Bollani, in Venice, on view until 27.11.2022.
—
Designed in three separate acts presented successively in Venice throughout the 59th Art Biennale, PLANET B: CLIMATE CHANGE AND THE NEW SUBLIME explores the impact of climate change on today’s art through the notion of the sublime, as defined in the 18th century by the philosopher Edmund Burke: « A delight tinged with terror ».
—
RADICANTS is an international curatorial cooperative, created in 2022 by Nicolas Bourriaud together with Kuralai Abdukhalikova, Barbara Lagié and Cyrille Troubetzkoy, in phase with the evolution of the art world, conceiving innovative exhibitions imagined by independent curators and specialised in exhibition production, cultural engineering, publishing and the sale of exhibitions and artworks.

Today we said goodbye to IRÈNE SILVAGNI who opened for us the doors of the fashion world in 1993 as she was working with YOHJI YAMAMOTO as his artistic director. Here's some of the images she commissioned us to create, as gathered in "YOHJI YAMAMOTO “REWIND/FORWARD" (2001) — a volume celebrating his 20 years in fashion by compiling all of the images we had produced together with DAVID SIMS, PAOLO ROVERSI, INEZ & VINOODH and CRAIG McDEAN.
—
Rest in Power Dear Irène — and thanks for all the possibilities you've opened for us and many others.

Here's images from our first ever fashion campaign from that same year, featuring Irish kids running in Connemara, Ireland, as photographed by FERDINANDO SCIANNA.
