Stitched together from 79 individual images, this Mastcam-Z right-eye 110-mm zoom mosaic is from the camera's first high-resolution panorama imaging sequence. These images were taken on the afternoon of Sol 4 (Feb. 22, 2021) of the mission.

This stunning image mosaic of the "Columbia Hills" is the first 360-degree panorama taken since the Mars Exploration Rover Spirit after arriving at the hills. The rover has been busy studying the rocks here, which show evidence of past alteration by water. The dark patch of soil to the right is the spot where Spirit stopped for engineering work on its right front wheel. Spirit's tracks can be followed from there all the way back to "Bonneville Crater" and the original landing site, more than 3 kilometers (1.86 miles) away.

Mars Ingenuity Sol 414
We spy with our little eyesโฆ#rover landing gear!
During the @marshelicopteringenuity โs 26th flight, it captured images of the entry, descent, and landing (EDL) gear the #Perseverance rover used to safely land on the surface of the #RedPlanet. Engineers working on the #MarsSampleReturn program asked whether #Ingenuity could provide a closer look.
This image of Perseverance rover backshell (left of center), supersonic parachute (far right), and associated debris was collected from an altitude of 26 feet (8 meters) by the agencyโs Ingenuity Mars Helicopter during its 26th flight on Mars on April 19, 2022.
During the Feb. 18, 2021, landing of Perseverance, the parachute and backshell were jettisoned at about 1.3 miles (2.1 km) altitude. The parachute and backshell continued to descend and impacted the ground at approximately 78 mph (126 kph). Engineers working on the Mars Sample Return program requested images be taken from an aerial perspective of the components because they may provide insight into the componentsโ performance during the roverโs entry, descent, and landing.
