BEAR IN THE MOONLIGHT by NIKO PIROSMANASHVILI (PIROSMANI), 1914, oil on cardboard 100 x 80cm, Georgian National Museum, with thanks to Infinitart Foundation.
Artist Ketuta Alexi-Meskhishvili makes a selection of Pirosmani’s paintings and writes about his life and work, linking it also to the story about her godfather the legendary film maker Sergei Paradjanov, also inside the magazine.
