For our 2021 exhibition, Barbara Hepworth: Art & Life, Tacita Dean was commissioned to create a new installation, Significant Form, comprising a selection of images from her found postcard collection. The images were re-photographed and photochemically hand-printed at various scales and on a variety of papers. Inspired by her shared interests with Hepworth, Dean selected images that depicted a representation of, or potential for, sculptural forms. Dean selected one of the works from the installation to be reproduced as a limited edition, exclusive to The Hepworth Wakefield. Tacita Dean, La puerta del Diablo, 2021.
