The moment has arrived — the New York Philharmonic and Music Director Jaap van Zweden, with special guest Emanuel Ax, tested out the new David Geffen Hall this week! 🎉 During these acoustic tuning rehearsals, the musicians got to give the brand-new Wu Tsai Theater a trial run and submit feedback to the team of acousticians as well as their Maestro, ensuring that the sound will be properly balanced and blended when we open in October. It’s a privilege to be part of developing the sound of this beautiful new space, and we can’t wait for you to see and hear it this fall!
