Misty autumn mornings in the Cotswolds. 🍂
Currently doing round 2 with the dreaded plague and looking forward to getting back out the house with the dog.
Riding home before the storm…
Haven’t posted in a while, but loved this shot, spotted a couple of kids pacing it on their bikes as a storm was rolling in.
Location: Providenciales, Turks And Caicos Islands
As I Am (@philophobiafilm) hits Cinemas in the USA this summer! So stoked to announce I’ve sold my film to Dean Devlin’s company Electric Entertainment! I was obsessed with Independence Day when I was a kid, still love the movie now and it’s surreal to be working with the dude who made it on the release of my first film. Follow your dreams and all that jazz. 🤯 Release dates coming soon!
Elsewhere, we’ve sold the film to Vertical Entertainment in the U.K. (It’s out now “As I Am” on Amazon, Sky etc) and we’ve done a deal with HBO who have released the film on HBO GO in much of Europe. Huge shout out to my amazing cast, crew, investors and everyone who has supported me through the process on my first movie. Big love. G x
PHILOPHOBIA - My debut film as a director is coming out in 50+ UK Cinemas this weekend!!
A raw coming of age movie made in the town I grew up in about the last week of school.
I appreciate my IG is more a travel blog than anything to do with filmmaking (aside from my relentless stories lol) so I don’t know how many of you have been following my journey with this but I’ve been pushing towards this dream since I was 11 years old. Your support now would be incredible! We’re a tiny indie film and we’re going up against TENET this weekend. Please spread the word and get yourself to the cinema! Link in bio to find your local cinema. Much love 🤙 #SupportTheArts#SupportIndieFilm#PhilophobiaFilm@philophobiafilm
Had an epic time riding through the mountains in Banff National Park with @brushpuppie. “Legs” was leading our pack, much taller than the other dogs and such a lil poser, papped him on a break. Hope everyone is safe and healthy in this peculiar time, I’ve almost made a full recovery. Another couple of days and I’ll be 100% I think...🤞 In other news @philophobiafilm has picked up another win, this time at the London Independent Film Festival, bringing the awards total up to double figures! Mind blown 🤯
Very early morning in the city of Petra; caught this woman getting ready for the day before the crowds. Exploring this ancient city was an incredible experience.
STOKED! California knows what’s up! My film @philophobiafilm has been accepted into @newportbeachfilmfest hugely grateful to be included! Can’t thank my cast, crew, financial backers and all the festivals enough for believing in this project and giving me an opportunity to do what I love. So far we’ve bagged 9 awards across 9 festivals and have screened in 4 continents. Blows my mind. I haven’t posted much about it on here so here’s a little recap. Trailer is on the official Facebook page. Release coming later in the year. Much love 🤙
Into the woods. Exploring near Peyto Lake with Brookey after getting the truck stuck in thick snow. Luckily some lovely Italian dudes showed up out of no where and started jumping on the roof. Did the trick. Love Alberta and Canada in general. Most of my family live in Vancouver, missing the snow.
Sunrise at Durdle Door on a chilly winter morning. Can you spot the queue for the iconic “Through the Keyhole” shot? Only possible a week or so a year.
Got a little over excited when I saw the misty conditions and started running up an incredibly steep hill at sunrise. Forgot I never exercise, collapsed, passed out and came to with my pulse beating out my skin all over my body. Convinced I was dying I actually rang my Mrs to let her know the bad news but hey, the view was pretty 😂
Spent a day walking 20km around the ancient city of Petra with some awesome people. Don’t think any photo can really do this place justice. You walk through a long narrow canyon and then eventually come to a clearing where this towers over you. Not bad...
The bayou is nothing short of magical and this Great Egret did me a solid, way to go bird! Have had some incredible peaceful evenings on the swamp. I’ve been on the road with @philophobiafilm and feeling really fortunate it’s taken me somewhere so special. Also, delighted to be coming home with a whopping great catfish after receiving the Director’s Choice Award at @cotbfilmfest
So excited to share my debut film, Philophobia, with the general public for the first time today at Heartland. I’ve been working towards this moment for as long as I can remember. If you’re in Indianapolis come join us at the AMC Castleton Sq at 430pm. @heartlandfilm@philophobiafilm#HIFF28#philophobiafilm
