Angel Coleman, a mother of five from Cleveland, OH, was 19 when she got pregnant with her first child. At the time she was living in a homeless shelter. She had to go through her pregnancy and learn how to take care of a child and breastfeed on her own. + Four years ago, she decided to take a leap of faith and create her own business called Fruit of the Womb Prenatal Services. Through her business, Angel assists low-income mothers-to-be. She also became a doula, a childbirth educator, and a lactation counselor, with Cornerstone Pregnancy Services. + Her main focus is lowering infant mortality rates in Northeast OH. So far, Angel has helped 20 mothers and she keeps on going. Recently, she started a new grant program that will add an additional 15 more moms.
