Sometimes we might feel discouraged when we see a physique we admire. We might tell ourselves that those fitness goals are not within our reach because genetically we’re built differently. And there’s truth to that, you can’t look exactly like someone else. However, isn’t it wonderful that no one else can look exactly like you? You have to build the best version of YOURSELF, not someone else’s. Finding out what it is, should be motivating enough. I wasn’t born with abs - look at the second photo. It was taken in 2008 before I started my fitness journey. It wasn’t the best version of myself and I knew it, I felt miserable about my weak body. I would have to catch my breath after just bending over! That needed to be changed, I knew my body was capable of way more than just maintaining the basic functions. I’ve come a long way but there’s so much more room for improvement.
