Not the most conventional holiday activity, I thought we were supposed to get our bikinis out!? But instead I had my hat, comfortable footwear, a day sack and trousers that you could zip into shorts. We spent two days in the mountains of Sierra Norte, Oaxaca hiking through villages and on ancient merchant pathways as part of an eco-tourism programme run by 7 of the villages. We ate the local food, swam in the valleys and hiked over 22km in baking heat learning about the beautiful biodiversity in these mountains. ⛰

The most surreal experience on our first day in Mexico. Up at 4am to hop in a hot air balloon for sunrise over the ancient Teotihuacan Pyramids. If you need something to add to your bucket list, this would be it. 🎈 All shot on my iPhone with abso no filter needed.

Feeling very blissful and motivated these last couple days absolutely pumped about what 2022 can bring. Is it the start of the new year? Not drinking alcohol for two weeks? Eating better? If I saw 2021 in this trailer form I would’ve known I was in for a ride. There is life outside of work and this was it and it was well worth living. Grateful for every single person that made it count.
