MET Gala red carpet ❤️ wearing a reproduction of my grandfather’s graduation tails, with 1880s fleurettes and 1900s glass bead and bullion embellishments. My crown is made from a pair of 1930s Greco-revival myrtle wreaths, symbolizing love and marriage. Thank you @voguemagazine@metcostumeinstitute for the beautiful evening.

Our Postage Stamp Quilt Shirt is a historical reproduction of an antique quilt block, circa 1930. The stamp quilt pattern, named due to the fact that no piece is larger than a postage stamp, is made up of thousands of tiny squares of scrap fabric. This piece can be worn open as a jacket or by itself. Available in short sleeve and long sleeve at our Hester Street and Melrose Avenue shops.
Our Ukraine benefit pieces are now available in-store and online. These garments feature a hand-embroidered and hand-appliquéd Ukrainian flag; no two pieces are exactly alike. 100% of proceeds will be donated to The Voices of Children Foundation to benefit children impacted by the war in Ukraine.
@nytimes Sunday Styles! “For inspiration they looked to classic bureaucratic architecture from Southern California from the 1930s through the ’50s, like Department of Motor Vehicles offices and post offices and educational institutions.” - Max Berlinger
“Several millions-year-old mastodon ribs—deaccessioned from an actual natural history museum, […] are displayed above shelves labeled with genus names, near a convincing plaster cast of a dodo bird skeleton.” - Sam Hine @gq
