Jamal, I’m gutted. You really achieved so much in your 31 short years, where can one even start. Words do not express the impact you had on so many lives, especially mine. You showed us how anything was possible. We used to look up to you, and be in awe of you in secondary school. You truly inspired a generation of black youths all over London; I love how you fearlessly put yourself out there and did the damn thing, and selflessly put everyone on too. Our pillar of the community. Thank you for always being one of my realest and most selfless friends. Checking in on me and pushing me to be the best version of myself even when I didn’t see the vision. You really were everyone’s cheerleader. Here’s to an absolutely irreplaceable genuine loving soul, who will eternally be celebrated. A true pioneer. One in a million. Flowers… Before. Now. Forever. God I miss you. I love you.
