@gramercy_group will be cutting trees down at the jail site this week. Please come to witness the further destruction of our green spaces. This is part of the City's plan to demolish two huge jails in Chinatown only to build the tallest jail in the world, on the site of the place where FOUR previous jails were built - one larger than the next, and one more dysfunctional that the previous. We need all of you to bear witness to this act of #violence against our community in the name of jail-building. Our community should not be once again sacrificed .
