What you’re actually seeing is a 3D fluorescent image of the nerve cells in whole mouse brains. Researchers have developed a new microscope, known as a hybrid open-top light-sheet microscope, that combines rapid high- and low-power light-sheet microscopy that allows for rapid imaging. The new microscope reduces scanning time and the computer resources to efficiently and accurately analyze specimen.
