Video transcript: Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. speaking on August 28, 1963, at the March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom. "I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed. "We hold these truths to be self-evident that all men are created equal." I have a dream, sons of former slaves and the sons of former slave owners will they be able to sit down together at the table of brotherhood? But I have a dream, that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character. I have a dream today!" This is followed by a text reading, "Poverty and economic inequality cannot be understood apart from a society built on white supremacy."
