For the purpose of protecting the safety and welfare of participants, the MAPS Code of Ethics for Psychedelic Psychotherapy outlines ethical principles governing treatment decisions made by providers delivering psychedelic psychotherapy within a MAPS protocol. The Code of Ethics provides the foundation for MAPS’ culture of safety, guiding and informing the practice of therapy within MAPS protocols.
