Another year, another Narwhal on the Gnar-Wall at East York Skatepark. Forever drawing sad looking cartoon style characters. Thanks for all your awesome organizing efforts @ey_pep and everyone who came out and volunteered their time. This marks 15 years of this skatepark being open, and 15 years of so many people volunteering their time to make it awesome. Fun fact; one of my first paying gigs related to the film industry, was for a short lived website called “Skateboard Village” out of BC who contracted me to film a video about this park while it was still under construction. Like so many videos I’ve made, it’s been lost to time. Hit me up if you know of a copy somewhere.
