King Princess played me a demo of one of the best rock n roll songs I had heard in ages. And I said this is amazing, but you know we have to get one of the best rock n roll drummers in the world to play on it. And she agreed. So I asked my friend Taylor Hawkins. And he loved the song and said yes. Words can’t express the sadness around his tragic passing. But I’m beyond grateful to have known him for the couple years I did. Thank you to Taylor’s family for allowing us to use his magnificent performance.
