Date, Tamarind & Butterbeans. This dish is an adaption from a traditional Omani dish called ‘Torsha’ (not to be confused with the Persian/Iraqi Torsha). We usually have it with liver and not butterbeans and then serve it with our chicken barley porridge called Harees or Boku Boku in Swahili. Switched it up with some butterbeans and yoghurt to make it a more everyday, easy recipe and it was delightful! Couldn’t recommend it enough. Ingredients: - 100g Tamarind Paste - 50g Date Paste - 50g fresh dates (pitted) - Bunch coriander - Any savoury yoghurt (I use coconut yoghurt for the sweetness) Ps.
