On August 18, the City of Los Angeles will reopen the city's one-and-only UNESCO World Heritage site: Frank Lloyd Wright’s Hollyhock House (@hollyhockhouse) after a period of renovation and restoration. The landmark building was the legendary architect's first Los Angeles commission, designed for heiress Aline Barnsdall in 1919. “A harbinger of California modernism, Hollyhock House continues to inspire artists, architects, and the public at large,” says Hollyhock House curator Abbey Chamberlain Brach.
