Today is a day to be angry. Congress’s continued failure to pass concrete legislation to combat the #ClimateCrisis is a loss for the American people, for the frontline communities bearing the disproportionate impacts, and for life on the planet. Our Climate Reality Leaders and activists across the US have spent months working for bold climate legislation to protect our communities, families, and planet. Yesterday, that plan was derailed by a single Senator. In the absence of meaningful action from Congress, it’s time for the Biden Administration to take a stand to #GetClimateDone. @potus has to step up and use his full presidential power to #ActOnClimate while we still have time. Our work over the past year was not in vain. We know that we need sweeping climate action. And we know that @potus can deliver. We’re ready to keep up the fight, and we’re here to support you as you do the same. We can still do this before it’s too late. It’s @potus’ turn to be our climate hero.
