💐 This was the best and most redemptive Mother’s Day I’ve ever had. I traveled to my home state of New Jersey to see my grandmother, aka my best friend. While here was some sadness in what is, there was great joy in being able to love on her and let her love on me in the ways she can. What an honor it is to belong to her and carry her legacy. Additionally, My family has taken such good care of me and reminded me that I don’t exist in this world alone. Thank you to my aunt Carly for always making room in her home for as she’s always done since I was a baby.
